My question is how many of you B&B types ask guests to specify what time they would like to have breakfast? I do - giving the grand tour at check-in I say " this is the dinning room where we serve breakfast in the morning between 7:30 and 10:00. What time can I get it for you?" I had a woman make quite a fuss over having to specify what time. Even after explaining that there could be up to 20 people having breakfast and to ensure her meal was perfect ( she had a place to sit , and things were fresh etc.) I needed to schedule things. She continued to make a fuss ( and quite rudely at that) After a further attempt to sooth things I just said alright come when ever you like but I don"t guarantee there will be room for you. After the couple left the next day I received a rather awful sarcastic review complaining about everything under the sun with statements like " can you imagine you have to make a reservation for breaky" So Is it unusual to ask for a breakfast time?
