Switch Off the Opportunites

Hi. I don't want to see Booking.com Opportunities any longer.  They only ever focus on slashing our margins (but never their rates), they send multiple notifications out simultaneously (I had 20 to review this morning) and they don't pay any attention to activity already underway or previous preferences and comments, which we do bother to write.

Can we turn them off / stop them?

Thanks in advnace

Hi KB!

Thanks for posting.

I get it, they're a pest. But you'll be glad to know that there are some technical issues surrounding the Opportunities tab right now. Mine does the same and if I take a look around the forum, we are not the only ones experiencing this.

Please do us all a favor and also report it. On the Opportunities page, scroll way down to the bottom and click on Send Feedback. Type them a message advising that the page does not update correctly.

We would appreciate it! Thanks and best of luck!

Hi Leandri and thanks for responding... just out of interest, who is the "we" in your post? Do you work for Booking.com?

Hi KB!

Pleasure. No I'm also just a partner on the forum like yourself. When I say "we" I mean me and other parners who have the same issues.

Should have made that clearer :") Sorry about that.

Have a good weekend!

@cassid...of course we could all play the big hotel game and increase the standard rate to be able to offer the discounts that b.com suggest.

I play the "opportunity game" sometimes but noticed one I did in July didn't get me one booking. I also notice that the opportunities are based on the "northern" summer and not always applicabale to other parts of the world.
