Why do large companies use the Forum Process rather than hiring good employees and training them well?

Well like everything in my bi-polar old life it is a journey and a story while meeting a few friends and family, while hoping to avoid a negative review and or experience.  How does it work for you and how much are you willing to share or do?

Hi Steve,

Yes it can be tricky at times dealing with incompetent guests and trying to keep cool.

We had a phone issue. Nothing to do with BDC! But...How long it took before the one question was answered by trained people....Very frustrating. We had to talk very slowly and keep on explaining from all sorts of different angles.

The question was misunderstood and finally, we found what we were looking for after one +hour ourselves. That was such a waste of time.

I think people don't stay in one job long enough to excel. Want to move on quickly. Since this world looks like turning around quicker and quicker.

And many intelligent people don't want to do the "simple answering questions on the phone" job.

It is frustrating and a growing problem everywhere.

New Zealand has a huge staff problem too. Also in the hospitality industry. Extremely frustrating!

So for now, make the most of it by learning as much as you can and hopefully you will have your listing top-notch and guests will come streaming if you have the right price and the right location and the right service to people. It's a learning curve.

Wishing you many great guests!

Greetings,

Aaltje B.
