    Life on 3rd Guest House

    Hi Mario

    Congratulations on this new endeavor.

    One very important notice board is the disclaimer which is as follows;

    Whilst every precaution taken is to ensure the safety of our guests and their possessions on the premises, the owners and managers of _ will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to persons or their belongings whatsoever, including their vehicles and belongings in their vehicles.

    This helps to ensure that you are not held accountable or responsible.

    Hope this helps.

    Good luck!

    Thanks for posting, and welcome to the forum!

    I don't have a fully complete disclaimer for you but I do have a few pointers:

    Make sure the boards are Readible (big font and simple english). Don't just put the boards up and assume you are now covered. Make the guest sign an indemnity form with all the things that's on the board. That way you have two fall backs should something happen. And lastly, I suggest putting them everywhere but keep in mind that it can ruin the aesthetics of your property. So it should be seen but not spoil the view.

    Best of luck!
