Payment to Cuba
Hello, I live in Cuba and recently I promote my hostel at booking. I want to know how I receive the payments of the guests in my country. I received two email with the notification of reservations but i´m worry about the payment. Best regards, Andros
Hi! Hostaljuventascfg and welcome to the forum.
First of all you have to choose your policies. For example these are some of my policies:
I am using Payments by Booking.com
That Means:
- A customer books a stay at your property.
- Booking.com facilitates an online payment for the guest*.
- You receive the payment by bank transfer.
To learn more, visit our Payments by Booking.com information page.Sorry but in Cuba is not possible the transfers from Bank outside the country
Sorry mabye some other partner can give you better info.
I only use payments through Booking.com.
Dear Andros,
We work with a lot of Cuban partners for who we facilitate payment collection.
Here is what you can choose to do: Apply for payments by Booking.com and select the Virtual Card payments. You can then ask us to process these Virtual Cards for you and pay out via AIS, PayPal, Bank Transfer (outside of Cuba).
You can get more information by sending us a message via our website.
Hope this clarifies the situation for you on how things work in Cuba.
Best regards,

Thanks Zsolt for giving us all this useful info.
Have a nice evening.
Hola, es cierto que hay problemas con Cuba para cobrar las pagos de los clientes via Booking Argentina?
Dear Isla,
Please write in English.
Second, there are no other issues than people not being able to charge the Virtual Cards. For which I offer a solution.
Best regards,

Is it possible to get paid at the account of a Cuban bank? My wife has one and she is owner also.
Dear Novyto,
Yes, if the correspondent bank can take USD, then yes.
Cheers,
