No end to the Frustration !!

I am near the end of my tether and if it were not for reliance on booking.com, I would cancel their service..

 

Issues:

1. I can't contact them.

(I try to send an email, on partner screen alert screen pops up (An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later. This has been going on now for more than 3 months)

2. I can't edit room amenities.

(I have TV's only in some rooms. When I edit, it asks which rooms and when I click, it defaults back to all rooms. I have angry guest because of the booking.com fault)

3. room amenities are strict and not flexible

(I can not list an amenity as "by request". For example, I do not have hair driers or coffee facility in a room unless a guest requests it. But I can not make this clear on the booking.com site, so guest arrives and angry because it is not in room. Why can't booking.com add "by request"? )

4 Constantly signing in and multiple windows

(I am of the belief booking.com interface was designed by a high school kid. Every time I click on a link, a new window pops up and I have to sign in again, then another new window pops up. I end up with a dozen tabs across the screen to get to the page I want. Frustrating !

5. No links where needed

(I needed to cancel a guest reservation, after multiple screens i click on the link and it reads that cancellations within 48 hours need to be referred to customer service. Is there a link in that text? No!. I go through more multiple pages to keep getting referred back to these pages (users forum), but even adding "customer help" in the search area at top of any page, there is no link listed. I am yet to find a customer service contact. So I try to send a general email to booking.com and I get..."An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later")

6. No call back from technical support

(booking.com phone me regarding a customer complaint. The complaint is due to booking.com listing fault... their fault, not mine. The guy says technical support will contact me within 24 hours. That is more than 2 weeks ago now. I am still waiting !! 

 

NOT HAPPY !!

Nothing is easy when beginning....
This forum is very supportive and partners very willing and helpful.
Read your BDC guidelines and step by step I am sure you will get there.
Think positive and don’t worry be happy....

Could be a few things causing your problems.

If not done already, whichever search engine (google etc) you use, completely clean out the cache.

Sometimes it can be necessary to completely delete the browser if it has been badly corrupted, most will remember all presets etc or can be saved and imported after re-install.

Check for viruses on device, they will always head for password protected areas first! (Malwarebytes and your existing anti virus programme, do the deepest scan it offers. Remember to delete Malwarebytes afterwards.

Restart the device after the above. This might be all it takes.

It may help if tell us what country and area you are in as there may specific problems where you are.
