Prepayment relates to either the full or partial amount of a reservation that must be paid before arrival.
If you don’t accept credit cards but want to request prepayment, you’ll need to contact the guest to set up payment to your bank account. To keep this as simple as possible, it’s best to provide a deadline for payment and inform the guest of this.
If you do accept credit cards, you can charge a prepayment to the card the customer booked with. The amount should be the same as the amount stated in the booking conditions.
Always make sure your payment policies are up to date. You can check these in the in the ‘Policies’ section of the ‘Property’ tab in the extranet.
You can also add this information to ‘The fine print’ section of your page by clicking on the ‘Property’ tab, then selecting ‘View your description’.
