How can I set up a deal or promotion?

Would you like to create a tailored deal for your property? It’s easy to set this up yourself. Just log on to the Booking.com Extranet and click on the ‘Promotions’ tab. You decide the length of stay, the booking dates and policy.

Here are some of the deals you can create:

Free Nights

You can offer guests a free night’s stay when a specific number of nights are booked. You select the number of paid nights required to receive the free night. The free night will always be the final night of the stay.

You’ll increase your property’s length of stay, appeal to more bookers and be more visible on the website, as your property will be tagged with this deal.

Last-minute Deal

An easy way to fill up empty rooms, appeal to bookers searching for properties up to seven days in advance — or closer to arrival. Setting up options like no address details, or no credit cards will make bookings more streamlined on mobile devices and for those looking to book quickly.

Early Booker

Attract those customers booking far ahead and fill up your rooms during low season with discounted deals.

You can make any of these deals public and visible to all customers visiting Booking.com, or you can opt to create a ‘Secret Deal’. These are highlighted to our newsletter subscribers, app users and guests with a Booking.com account.


Once you create a deal, it can take a few minutes to show up in the ‘Rates & Availability’ tab.

The new deal copies the policies from your parent (i.e your standard) rate. For example, if your standard room rate includes breakfast, or is non-refundable, your new deal will incorporate this, too.

Restrictions, however, are not copied over from the parent/standard rate.

The deal will be active for the dates you select in the calendar, which can be found at the bottom of the page within the ‘Rates & Availability’ tab.
