Updating your calendar availability using the Pulse app

You can update your availability for individual or multiple dates using our Pulse app on iOS and Android devices.

On the Pulse app, you may be using the old calendar or the new calendar. Check which one you’re using by matching what you see in Pulse to the screenshots below, then follow the corresponding steps to update your availability.

Identifying your calendar

 

We're currently in the process of migrating our partners from the old Pulse calendar to the new one, so some are still using the old calendar. Look at the screenshots below to see which calendar you're using and which steps you should follow to update availability.


Old calendar

 

Follow the steps below to update your availability using the old calendar in the Pulse app.

Managing individual dates using the old calendar

  1. Open the Pulse app
  2. If you’re on iOS, tap on the Availability tab at the bottom of your screen
  3. If you’re on Android, tap on the calendar icon at the top of your screen
  4. Select the date you’d like to update availability for
  5. Scroll down to the room category you’d like to update
  6. Tap on + or - to change the number of rooms to sell
  7. Your changes will be saved automatically

Managing multiple dates using the old calendar

  1. Open the Pulse app
  2. If you’re on iOS, tap on the Availability tab at the bottom of your screen
  3. If you’re on Android, tap on the calendar icon at the top of your screen
  4. Tap Edit multiple dates under the calendar
  5. Select the date range you’d like to update your availability for
  6. Tap Adjust availability to save your changes
  7. Select the room type you want to update, or choose a property and then the room type if you have multiple properties on the same account
  8. Tap + or - to change the number of rooms to sell
  9. If you’re on iOS, tap Save to finish the update
  10. If you’re on Android, tap the the check mark in the top-right corner to finish the update

Remember to load prices for any dates you’ve made available. Rooms are only open/bookable if they have a rate set up. Guests can make reservations up to 16 months in advance, so make sure you give yourself every opportunity to be seen – and booked.

New calendar

Follow the steps below to update your availability using the new calendar in the Pulse app.

Managing individual dates using the new calendar

  1. Open the Pulse app on your iOS or Android device
  2. Tap on the Availability tab
  3. If you have one room type, skip to step 9
  4. If you have multiple room types, skip to step 7
  5. If you have multiple properties, go to step 6
  6. Tap on the property you’d like to update availability for
  7. If you’re viewing the dates in a calendar, first choose the room type you’d like to manage by tapping on its calendar
  8. If you’re viewing the dates in a list, scroll to the date you’d like to edit and then skip to step 10
  9. Tap on the date you’d like to make changes to
  10. Tap on + or - to change the number of rooms to sell
  11. If you’re on iOS, tap on the Save button at the bottom of the screen to finish the update, or tap on Reset if you don’t want to apply the changes
  12. If you’re on Android, tap on the check mark in the top right corner of the screen to save changes, or tap on the arrow in the top left corner of the screen and then on Discard if you don’t want to apply the changes

Managing multiple dates using the new calendar

  1. Open the Pulse app on your iOS or Android device
  2. Tap on the Availability tab
  3. If you have one room type, skip to step 9
  4. If you have multiple room types, skip to step 7
  5. If you have multiple properties, go to step 6
  6. Tap on the property you’d like to update availability for
  7. If you’re viewing the dates in a calendar, first choose the room type you’d like to manage by tapping on its calendar
  8. If you’re viewing the dates in a list, scroll down to the date you’d like to edit and then tap on the room type you’d like to update
  9. Tap on Edit multiple dates
  10. Select the date range you’d like to make changes to
  11. Tap on Adjust availability
  12. Tap on + or - to change the number of rooms to sell
  13. If you’re on iOS, tap on the Save button at the bottom of the screen to finish the update, or tap on Reset if you don’t want to apply the changes
  14. If you’re on Android, tap on the check mark in the top right corner of the screen to save changes, or tap on the arrow in the top left corner of the screen and then on Discard if you don’t want to apply the changes
