Booking.com Hasn’t paid me for ANY reservations

I signed up with Booking.com in August, and they have NOT PAID me for any of my bookings! Stripe, which facilitates all payments from guests, is going back and forth with booking.com and they are both BLAMING each other and just not paying me. I have called numerous times, left messages, emailed back and forth for month and nothing is getting done. I even paid them their commission and had to pay my TOT tax for money I haven’t even received!!! I will be taking them to small claims court. They CANNOT get away with this!!!

Which feature did you activate for payment? "Payments by BDC" or "Online Payments"? What is your selected payout method?

when guest book (or try to book) with me, I process their Credit Card for the down payment. I have control of the the billing and money. Not booking.com. However...way too many "no funds" when I try and process the down payment. But at least I can cancel the booking with Bad Credit Card status and it frees up my calendar.

How does the Payments by BDC work @pibomarco? I'm not sure we even have that in Australia yet.

BDC collects all payments from the guest. You get paid on 15th of each month.

In some countries this feature is not yet available.

This same thing has happened with me.... 3 months of hosting guests in a small guest house in north india and we haven't been paid at all. Now booking.com owe us over 50,000 rupees - we are dependent on this income for the rest of the year when it is impossible to have guests in this area.

Despite many messages and phone calls, we have not been able to make any progress. Feeling frustrated and completely cheated by this website. Our whole family is being badly impacted by this and booking.com not replying... or paying us!

That doesn't sound right.
To my knowledge, you get paid by BDC only if you have activated Payments by Booking.com, but is this feature available in India though? Did you perhaps activate Virtual / Online Payments? In this case you must colect money from BDC virtual card.
If none of the above, then you should colect money directly from the guest.
I mean the policies are quite clear.

Malakidhani sounds they are using the same scam with with you as they did with my small business. My advice? Bug the crap out of them. They paid me only after I threatened to sue and go to the news because they are running a scam. Once they paid me though, (after 3 months of stressful calling back and forth and countless emails.) I closed my account as soon as I could. Best thing I ever did since starting my business. Booking.com is a literal nightmare to deal with and I tell everyone not to use them.

@pibomarco

Just to clarify... we had indeed activated 'Payments by booking.com'. We had no choice in doing this... all Indian businesses who were not registered for GST were migrated to this payment option on December 10 2018.

Yet they never paid us any of the money they collected from guests. And they still sent monthly commission statements for us to pay.

Again, we are not living in a wealthy western country where we can simply shrug our shoulders and say 'oh well, that's a shame'.

For us, they are withholding almost a full year worth of salary... which we depend upon during the 'off season' which is fast approaching. In this part of India, we earn 300 rupees per day for hard manual labor... Booking.com currently has more than 50,000 rupees they are withholding from us. It's a life changing amount and we have worked hard for it - now we want our money!

@Riverbarpharmsbedandbreakfast thanks for your comment and sorry to hear about your experiences with booking.com.... it's strange that such a large global company is acting like a rogue criminal organisation. Once we resolve this issue, we will no longer be allowing booking.com to touch any of our guest payments, it's too dangerous!

I am from Europe and I would never just shrug my shoulders and leave it be. If we don't get paid after each month, we wouldn't be able to pay our bills and our employees. That's a very bold statement from you.

You said many calls, many messages and what was their actual responce to the issue?

Is your bank placed in India, the data is correct?

Do you receive a remittance advice for each month from BDC?

Why are you paying the commision separately? Usually properties that have activated Payments by BDC, Booking automaticly deduct the commission from the collected payments.

Maybe policies for Payments by BDC are different in India.

Can you see this in your extranet?

It seems like you are defending booking.com at all costs without even listening to the facts presented by Malakhidani.

I suspect you are hired by booking.com to belittle the problems they are facing.

'Payment by booking.com' is a push feature presented to us when we first signed up as partners. There were lists of local banks (listed by booking.com) so called for bank transfer payment to partners purpose.

I had the same predicament. After the first few guests checkin out, booking.com sent us invoices stating commissions to be paid. Upon that the extranet showed 'paid' commissions which means they have deductef the commissions from our revenues.

We sent message on 'help' on the extranet asking when do we get paid. The next day,  booking.com sent us email saying They Cannot Pay Us Due To Our Bank Does Not Support MYR Currency.

We are operating in Malaysia with rates charged in MYR. All guests whether locals or international paid in MYR. The MYR feature is clealy stated on their website.

When we called the listed Malaysian numbers on booking.com website, all calls were automatically rejected. We called the national telecommunications provider to verify their numbers and lo and behold,  all booking.com phone numbers are actually never been registered before. Basically all numbers never existed.

Booking.com is a SCAM.

Get out of this company. Find other platforms to list your airbnb business.

Btw we are hosting the last guests who paid to booking.com whose money will never reach us. They have paid their flight tickets and we have no choice but to host them with no money coming in because we are Not booking.com.

We are running legit business.

And you are still being defensive??

Very poor argument and doesn't take away the fact that booking.com list non existing phone numbers on their website and their emails.
