How charge guest's credit/debit card before he come

Hello,

I'm an individual host in Bali and have only POS that can charge guests cards only when swipe or put in terminal POS.

But i looking the way to charge provided through Booking.com website credit or credit cards.

Do you know any website or service who can help me?

Hello Myexoticbali,

there is no way to charge the credit card through the Booking.com extranet. This option is not provided. Moreover, it is not advised to charge a guest´s card if you have not communicated it before. If you want to charge a card before arrival, you should state it in your policies. Otherwise you could get in trouble.

Hi, of course i have policy 50% prepayment after booking and 30 days before arrival balance.

First idea, speak to your bank and see if can have the facility of charging a card without the person and physical card present.

Failing that, see if you have any independent companies offering a card charging system in your country.

Alternatively switch to BDC collect all payments for you ( BDC pay you all check out dates of one month on the 15th of the following month ).

PBB or BDC you mean Payment by Booking.com ? we activate before but on 26 Nov they up security level and most of people after can not book and pay to booking.com and we start missing bookings. Because customers can not pay and book another hotels.

I have seen a couple of other threads here with similar complaints that BDC is declining cards that are fine elsewhere.

Sounds like BDC has a problem with new security settings.

All hosts who are suffering must start shouting loudly at BDC so that they listen and hopefully find the glitch very soon.
