non payment of stay from Booking.com

Has any other partner had issues trying to get payment from Booking.com???

This is for a bank transfer payment from them to us... 

We have now rung Booking.com no less than 8 times, emailed finance depart via Booking.com extranet, all without resolution.

Our guest 2 adults, stayed in October 2018, paid online at the time of booking. $900 NZD worth.

This was noted in our system as a bank transfer which we fully expected to get paid within a couple of days of the guest checking out.

This did not happen. 

We rang in November to be told by customer support this would be paid by Dec 15th 2018, when this did not happen we rang again.... and again and again....

Every time we ring we now get told something different..... oh there has been an error, a miscommunication, we will contact our finance depart, are your bank details correct in our system, you have been marked as high priority!!! blah blah blah.... 

Long story short..... 7 months later we still have not been paid..... but funnily enough all our commissions for other stays have been deducted from our bank account 

Would love to here from anyone with similar.. and how you managed to get a resolution.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

Very sorry to hear about your payment problems.

Maybe you should also send your payment request through your Extranet inbox tab, directly to booking.com.

I have been waiting since January for payments for 6 bookings.  I am now taking them to EU small claims court

Make sure you have your facts right first.

  • as most of the time is entirely down to partners not understanding
  • the sytstem and what they agreed towhen signing up,
  • setting up and what the payment method terms and processes are.

I completely disagree, you stopped making payments to us in March stating bank account details are incorrect when they haven't changed and then we get the same message each week. Were now 6 months in and still no payments but you are talking money off our guests and keeping it

Were waiting on payments from March and I ring and email daily and no callbacks and no joy. They say our bank details are incorrect and to confirm them, but when you do that it takes 5 days to confirm, then your payment gets delayed even further. I think small claims court is the only answer but not sure re head office being in the Netherlands and the difference in legal system.

I’m having the same issue.  have been calling there every week, each week same answer, nothing they can do, they will send message to finance.  No return to calls, emails or messages.  A total disregard on the situation it’s put me in.

can everyone here please edit and amend the country you are in so we can see if ye share the same region finance dept ?

 

I'm in IRELAND, and never had this issue.

I am in Greece, and also never had any problems with payment...

 

Payments by booking.com always on time....excellent service.

 

Hope you can resolve your problems the soonest.

My host is in Greece either. However, Booking.com has owed me €767 which they said the money has been sent two weeks ago and nothing coming into my bank account yet. Nobody contact me or reply the email that I sent to the financial team. So frustrating and I can’t trust them again.

We have not been paid a commision for just under 3 month period from March 21 to late May 21....it is over $13,000 Australian..  we have been through the whole process above...with lie after lie after lie....we have no idea who to turn to here in Australia to start legal proceedings against BdC as it is a nightmare. Can anyone please give us some insight on how to resolve this issue. Its just wrong that they can do this after we have been with them for 2 yrs and never had an issue before.  To make matters worse they paid us a small amount just the other day ( 2 days ago) for a recent stay...so its clearly not anything to do with Bank detials or the like...i am digusted and deeply dissappointed by their behaviour...

I am in South Africa and have handed one of my proporties over to another host - during this handover period a guest who booked prior to the handover stayed, but no payment has been forthcoming from payments by booking.com.  The new hosts phones them every day to no avail.  As I have handed over the property I have lost my history of this property and the ability to contact them via inbox as this property ID has been removed.

What do I do  now to get payment for the guest who paid booking.com and who stayed.

The owner of the property is now loosing out. 

Can somebody please explain how to contact payments by booking.com as the south african telephone number is not left unanswered  and inbox messages from my other properties are not replied to.
