Non Payment by Guest for stay

One of my guests advised that they had already paid booking.com when making their reservation. Hence I accepted this.

This happened when I first opened my account with you.

I did contact your help department for advise and they advised that I should handle this comment when I received my invoice.

This I am now doing and ask of you could in any way assist by getting this money for me from their credit card details you already have. - I think that this is were the confusion may have come from -

The guest may think he/she has already paid and they have by credit card, results shown on their bank statement, 

Or: 

The guest thinks payment has been done, but actually it is only taking the number. 

This is an old topic, but people seem to keep having problems here. 

I do put in numbers from a virtual card number that is given by BDC when guest books. But the host need a device so the money can be taken before guests arrive, or paid by guests on arrival by credit card. 

Sometimes it is hard to see if the guest has already paid or not looking at the reservations only. There is no line to say which of the two have occurred (paid / not paid/ or paid deposit)

I double-check all the money coming in, but this is where my information starts. 

You must like admin if you go with this system. And have some time.
