I want to set up a deposit/prepayment. How can I do this?

Prepayment relates to either the full or partial amount of a reservation that has to be paid before arrival.

If you don’t accept credit cards but want to request prepayment, you’ll need to contact the guest to set up payment to your bank account. To keep this as simple as possible, it’s best to provide a deadline for payment and inform the guest of this.

If you accept credit cards, you can charge a deposit or prepayment to the card the customer booked with. The amount should be the same as the amount stated in the booking conditions.

Always make sure your payment policies are up to date. You can check these in the Policies section of the Property tab, then on the Extranet.

You can also add this info to The Fine Print section of your page by clicking on the Property tab, then selecting View your description.
