A master account is linked to your partner agreement with us and to the properties associated with this agreement. You can’t add properties that aren’t linked to the partner agreement, or remove admin access rights of master accounts.

In this article:

Checking if you have a master account

Follow these steps to check which account type you have:

  1. Log in to the Extranet
  2. Click Account, then Create and manage users
  3. “Master account” will appear under your name if you have a master account

Adding properties to your master account

You can add properties to a master account if they’re part of the same partner agreement. If they aren’t, you'll need to create a new non-master user account to add those properties.

Adding properties under the same agreement

Once you confirm that you have a master account, you can add properties under the same partner agreement to the account. First, follow these steps to add the properties to our platform:

  1. Go to join.booking.com – make sure you're logged in to your partner account
  2. Under Create a new listing, click Get started
  3. Select the property you want to register, then click List your property
  4. Follow the registration process by answering the questions

If the property you’d like to add to your master account is part of the same agreement, we recommend contacting your local partner support team. They’ll be able to add the new property to your master account.

Adding properties that aren’t under the same agreement

If the property you’d like to add isn't part of the same agreement, you can create a new non-master user account for that property by following these steps:

  1. Log in to the Extranet
  2. Click Account, then select Create and manage users
  3. Select Add a user
  4. In the menu, select New user and create a new user with different log-in details
  5. Add the property to the new user's account

Adding users to your property

You can give users access to your property's Extranet account even if they aren’t part of the partner agreement. You can do this for users who already have non-master accounts and those who have master accounts but no access to your property on the Extranet.

Adding existing users with non-master accounts

Add users who already have non-master accounts by following these steps:

  1. Log in to the Extranet
  2. Click Account, then select Create and manage users
  3. Select Add a user
  4. Select Existing user and enter their non-master account details (username and email address)
  5. Click View access rights

Adding new users with master accounts

If someone already has a master account, you can invite them to set up a non-master account to access your property details on the Extranet. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Extranet
  2. Click Account, then Create and manage users
  3. Select Add a user
  4. Select New user and enter the name and email address of the person you want to add
  5. Click Next step: Set up access rights
  6. Select what you’d like that person to have access to
  7. Click Send invite to send them an email with the invitation

Once they open the email and accept the invite, they can create a new account. They should use a different log-in name than the one associated with their master account. Once registration is complete, they should share their username and email address with you so you can add them to your property.
