I have 5 condos in the Panhandle of FL, USA.  I used to be able to view the Credit Card infor from the potential guest when they booked.  Now I'm not permitted to do so until a month prior to check-in date.  I need a $ 300 deposit to book the stay and final payment 60 days prior to check-in.  For condos that rent for several thousand $$'s a week, that 60 day cancellation is mandatory for the owner not to get last minute cancellations.  I've called Booking.com several times to complain and am not sure what going on.  I need help!  Condos are different than hotels and I'm not sure Booking is set up to handle this.  What do you advise.

Speak to you contract manager, the same thing happened to me and they advised I needed to show back up that I was authorized to list the accommodation online and that it was not being listed by more than once, I did this and am still waiting on feed back,

I wish to speak about the booking payment . I don't use credit cards. My guests are asked to pay via PayPal or a bank transfer prior their arrival to my property. These 2 systems are very inconvenient either for my guests or for me. Question: why Booking.com is constantly refusing to ask my guests to use their credit cards when they make the reservation ? The system is used by Airbnb , the comission is automatically included , the money is transfered to PayPal and the owner gets the money from PayPal . Does work for Airbnb ? Then it's fine.

I am not sure I understand your question Simone, would you like to receive the guests credit card details when they book, we get this and charge them the 1st night at time of booking, non refundable them the remaining payment 30 days prior to arrival, obviously if they book within the 30 days we charged in full, which yes we have to pay the merchant fees as well as the commission to booking,  I also would like Booking, com to charge the guests at time of booking then send me my payment on day of arrival, I think this would work better for all of us,

The new system Booking.Com .  Online Virtual Credit Card  Payment on Guests Reservation works very well with me.

I don't need to know any information about my guests' credit cards.
All I need is a payment done through Booking.com.
I pay 18% commission and I think Booking. Com has to take care about the payments either. Exactly as in the Airbnb system.
    1. Charge the guests when they make the reservation.
    2. Transfer me the money minus the commission using PayPal or your bank account.
Otherwise my guest and me are starting a kind of a Ping Pong . The end of the game is usually a cancellation . Booking.com is loosing the comission and me a good guest.
