    Same problem as Roman. My condo doesn’t have a mailbox nor will people be there to accept the package. Should ship to address of payment delivery. Now my package will arrive and some will steal it and possibly use it on their unit.

    Well actually I have had it reported last year as well. This year I wrote them to send it just in case to our billing address, but they still failed to do so. Very unfortunate :(

    Congratulations Emma-Jennings-Frisby!   I also feel that it would be nice if our achievements could be feature on our page or that we could be featured more prominently on Booking.com.  That would be a real incentive to keep on top of our game!

    I am so thrilled to get this award. I never expected it and in such a short time of actually being a partner with booking.com 9.9 for this year will do my best to beat it by next year!

    I was also very pleasantly surprised by my Review Award :)

     

    I agree with all of the award winners when they say if you just put your heart and soul into giving your guests a room that you, yourself would want to sleep in and bathe in.

    The room I want to sleep in and bath in might be totally opposite to what the guest wants... I realized that should be some standards to follow or at least the collective opinion of the guests must prevail over mine.

    Music is a gift from God indeed. And how neat about your son being a song composer. I will do a search online. 

    The photo is proof of what is possible with the language of music, meeting someone from the other end of the world and "talking" together via instruments is a very amazing phenomenon. It is a talent that I take with me wherever I go. It reaches our hearts and souls and goes beyond description of how it can touch us.

    We are very pleased to have received the online version of the Guest Review Award.  When can we expect to receive the hard copy please?  Is it a paper certificate or is it a really hard paper copy?  I am asking as our post person has a habit of folding our letters to fit into our letterbox and unfortunately, it might get damaged. Is the envelope clearly marked "Do Not Bend"?

    YP M, Dutchy from Zeeland, but here in NZ  since 2002. And very happy here. I'm a myriapod or Jack of all trades, Love People, and not shy so have blended in well. 

    We travel every 3rd of 4th year back to A'dam and meet up with family all over NL. Always busy holidays! 

    Missing family but thanks to telephone we can cope. 

    Doing the hosting in NZ is great. People come and go. For most that arrive there is something special in store when they receive the unexpected: Nature so so beautiful, views, quietness, fresh air, and just sharing stories is great even when it is a very short time during check-in, receiving encouragement or a compliment from the host is often appreciated. People are made to connect I think, naturally! 

    Just love hosting. And winter times sees me creating projects. I guess you are the same?  Have a lovely day Maria.  (I could guess is was Maria :)   )

    Just a few weeks after receiving my review award, I have just had my first really bad review! So my score has now gone down to 9.6 as a result of it. I was upset of course, but I have enjoyed responding to the bad review, and now I feel better — thank goodness we have the right of reply! Fortunately, the bad review is not displayed prominently on my page.

    I like the way Booking.com displays the best reviews on a property listing and makes the not so good reviews less easy to spot. I opened my B&B a year ago without a single review (obviously!), and now I feel that my property page is much enhanced by having nice comments dotted all around it. The way Booking.com has designed the page, to show lots of reviews without spoiling the overall look of the page and the photos, is really clever in my opinion. As someone who has done graphic design, I know this is not an easy thing to achieve. Many things about Booking.com are irritating, but this is one area that I feel Booking.com deserves a really big thumbs up.

    Hello Corinne Orde.........YES !!!  we all work so hard to please the guests and hopefully get a good review.Rita and I have managed to get a perfect 10 two years in a row BUT we both say ..ONE DAY..something will go wrong either the air conditioner/the electricity or some thing minor and DOWN goes the score (what to do but keep trying hard)  and yes I like the way Booking does the reviews on their blurb for all of us.....................A funny one ..Even if my brother stayed at Buckingham Palace and would be served by the Queen..HE WOULD NOT GIVE A 10 as he really believes it is not possible !!!!  and yes we argue over that point................many times...Cheers and nice talking to you....Michael.

    "M" and Aaltje..........................Girls,100 % agree......good call and very true !!!...BUT if the Queen gave me a Champagne then I would probably give a 10 !!!!!!!
