Rate / Room Plans???

Very grateful for help with what I think the experts (I'm a newbie and not trained in the business) call Rate Plans or Room Plans:

I have a small listing: 2 villas each with 2 bedrooms with bathrooms, sitting rooms, terraces, kitchenettes etc.

I have been renting them as whole units and sadly I'm not getting many bookings. (People don't seem to be holidaying in groups/families as they used to here.)

I am now thinking of renting out individual rooms in each villa in the hope of getting couples who are after just the one room - and not an entire villa.

I guess this is possible to do but I am lost in the jargon and not sure where to start. Any basic guidelines with key words that I can decipher using online Help will be great. (Getting basic help like this from a Booking.com person has proven impossible to date.....)

Hi Raymond

I don't know what the cause is of your unit not being booked.

If you rent out to families, they may often use it in holiday-time. which is not too frequent.

You could make special weekend deals, for groups of friends celebrating a birthday or something like that. Or even combine solo renters through the week and groups in the weekend.

I typed your question in the search bar just above this section and I got over 250 questions / answers.

There must be something there that suits you.

Hope this helps. If you still have questions, keep asking.

Greetings

Thank you for taking the time to make this contribution, Aaltje and apologies for not responding earlier.

The number of questions and answers I get when I search for help on this is what's making it difficult for me. I am hoping to hear from someone who has actually done what I'm inquiring into and who could offer some hands on guidelines. Thank you all the same

Best

Raymond

Raymond, I get it.

You could try again via the login to Extranet and then Inbox to send your answer, on the same page you can try to contact.

It is important to get your set-up correctly and done in one go, instead of trial and error state which is frustrating and time consuming.

Hope you find someone to talk to soon and can succesfully adapt to your chosen unique setting.

Lots of photo's to show the interior is great help. The program Pixlr is good for editing for BDC. Hope this helps.

Greetings
