I am owner of Le Balcon des Jasses, a Bed and Breakfast in South west France. I start in 2002, and grow slowly to what I have to day.I love good Quality and clean, modern and good life.
I love cooking, and I offer my visitor a 5 course dinner, and the Best wine. And Im cooking almost every day. Breakfast are with home made bread, waffle be made when people eat, I make a boiled egg, fresh fruit, fresh Orange juice from press, and a seleccion Yogurt, Muesli, and of course coffe tea..........

If you buy anything on the internet, and you give wrong Credit Card Details and CVC code, you get nothing. Just reject.
But do you know, You can make a booking, with Booking.com, and GIVE FAULT Credit Card and CVC code information, And You get your Booking, it's just perfect!!!
If Booking.com handle Payment, Booking.com can control Card details. But if Booking.com are not taking payment, you can make your booking, don't care with card info.
It means I have my own Pay terminal, card reader, and if a client gives wrong Card info, I cannot charge if a Booking is cancelled after our policy, and here it is one week, and we charge 100%.
From 16 June, to now, we lost 310€uro, and Booking.com will not change Policy.
The check, automatic, of any Credit Card info, are easy, everyone can, But Booking.com don't give us this help.
I talk to Booking.com, Finance many times, and the answer is always the same: Use Booking.com for Payment. It cost 3%.
No, I will not, we have a restaurant and drink charge, and our customer pays direct.
Ok, I can sit here and Check all card info from all bookings, it means lots of extra work, and if wrong, writing to the customer and ask for correct info.
What to do?? Why will Booking.com not upgrade the system, Why do I have to lose??

The Local Tourist office allows us, and Hotels to Charge, 2 to 5 € Pr; Person per night.
I use Izettle, 0,9% commission, but Izettle cannot do Virtual Payment. For this, I use SUM UP.; More expensive, but no choice.

Correct, Booking.com become an egoist partner, wish I could leave, but fully booked to October. No international, only French.
Its a Broken, system, Booking.com are only looking Global, but it's different in every country, every area,
I ask today my local Tourist Office. - my home, a small, but very attractive, Bed and Breakfast, with a small restaurant, only up to 8 people maximum.
ITS A PUBLIC PLACE, No mask, Police can fee us 100€ per person, per guest.

It is expensive.
A little compensation for long loyalty, and many month closing dow, would be a great help from Booking.com
