Direct contact with BDC

How would that work for BDC   A Life Chat Option 

 

That would make life for many of us much more convenient. 

Two total / One on each half of the continent. 

Anyone?

Dear Aaltje,

They will not commit that much manpower, because there are way too many partners to take care of and it would just clutter the operatives.

I speak from experience, it's not a viable option for large user groups.

I also have answered a question of someone who had to pay 1000 dollars for commission and she hardly had any bookings due to cancellations. BDC still wants her to pay. How can that happen?

The current system is what works for them and they won't quit using it, unless they add an AI system in the future to solve issues and answer questions, which some companies have done already.

The issue with that commission payments is between the chair and the keyboard, the user. She definitely didn't mark the bookings as a no-show so it's on her to pay it. Certain procedures must be respected. That's all.

I agree with Zsolt. I think partners should constantly read over and over again rules and regulations of BDC and respect procedures.
This forum is a treasure especially for us newbies and are thankful that partners like Zsolt are always willing to help us out.

I still think it is the task of BDC - staff to sort issues. Not us. A short-cut on the front page that says it all.

Aaltje B. I understand what you are saying but by helping others we really help ourselves. Whenever I have send a message request to BDC their response has been always in time. The staff in our local BDC office are very polite understanding and willing to give advice, so far. I really can't understand what's happening in other countries and hosts can't get in touch with BDC.
Maybe this is a topic that Michael can raise in the click 2019.

.Aaltje B. certainly it's very frustrating when partners have to face close doors and I agree with you that some issues have to be resolved by BDC staff.

I want to cancel my account - we do not want to rent out our home on booking anymore. We have a house in Spain and will not rent it out anymore
