they cannot offer those for individuals, only companies. So no.
What I suggest doing is Credit Card Preauthorization. You block the sum 30 days prior to arrival and voila! Don't need to worry about getting the money and you can also cancel the hold anytime if needed without much hassle.
It's the same pot of manure. Agoda always shown super low prices when you look up my property. Prices that my Channel Manager does NOT send to them.
This happened to me too.
I have my own website where I route guests who call us for a reservation.
Imagine my surprise when they book not via my website, but through BDC at a rate that I have not approved at all!
Well, I couldn't really cancel because that's the rate I have told the guest over the phone, but that one is not inclusive of the 18% commission (yeah, we pay that much to BDC).
I have since raised my general prices on BDC with 30%, screw them for screwing us.
I want to deter any potential guest from booking via BDC with these shenanigans.
I feel like this:
1. Me as a guest, I am cautious to pay a damage deposit because there are a lot of scams where they say you broke something when you clearly didn't so they steal the deposit from you.
2. Why would I book a place that asks for a deposit when I can book one that doesn't?
3. Would you pay a damage deposit in a foreign country, without knowing anything about the local legislature?
Until these things exist, you'll have an issue by using this system.
And it sucks when no company in my country does this type of insurance for individuals owning properties that are used for hotel rentals.
Hey guys,
To clarify the Cuba issues (because I work with a lot of properties there):
1. What you see as PayPal payments applies for people booking those places. This has nothing to do with how YOU receive the payout from BDC. People booking those places will pay BDC via PayPal and not you.
2. If you're a resident abroad, you can ask for someone like me to process the Virtual Cards for you and transfer the funds via a bank transfer/PayPal or even AIS in Cuba.
3. Leandri Klopper it will probably come down to doing VCC payouts, nothing else would work.
If you are interested in charhing your Virtual Cards (VCC) drop me a message via my website and we can chat about details.
Cheers,

@ISH
You have a way of processing all those payments, however that requires a fair amount of work.
I could help you with this as I do hotel consultancy and one part that I focus on is payment processing.
Contact me via my website and let's chat about this.
Warm regards,
