Hi! Seve-S and welcome to the forum.

Have you edited your payment policy in your Property tab under Policies?

Hi! I searched there a bit but didn't find it. I actually don't know what I should change. I see

Cancellations & Prepayment

Guest Payment Options

Cancellation Exceptions

Additional fees & charges

And I don't know which to choose and what to change.

I would suggest in Cancellations and Prepayments select No Prepayments if thats what you want.

Try again I am sure you will find it.

Hi! I found it. But It seems I can't change it..

Prepayment

We facilitate prepayment of the full amount from your guests before arrival – thanks to Payments by Booking.com. For more info on how we facilitate payments for you, click here.

When i press for more information I just get instructions

How It Works

Did booking change their policies ?

Best Regards: Seve

And thanks for the kind help i really appreciate that!

Sorry I am confused. You said you need no prepayment. Payments by Booking.com is another section, where you choose payment methods.

Cancellation & Prepayment Policies

Flexible - 7 days

  • The guest can cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel in the 7 days before arrival. If the guest doesn’t show up they will be charged the total price.
  • We facilitate prepayment of the full amount from your guests before arrival – thanks to Payments by Booking.com. For more info on how we facilitate payments for you, click here.
  • These are my policies.

    Guest Payment Options

    You're Using Payments by Booking.com.

    That Means:
    1. A customer books a stay at your property.
    2. Booking.com facilitates an online payment for the guest*.
    3. You receive the payment by bank transfer.

    This is my payment policy.

Do you facilitate payments through booking.com? because if you do booking.com facilitates prepayment of the full amount from your guests before arrival – so maybe thats why you cannot have no prepayment. Its my thought....

Hello! Sounds like I did a mistake at the beginning then. Is this an easy solution? If not then maybe I should not bother you anymore and let it be like it is.

To tell you the truth I think it’s better not to have ‘no prepayment ‘ policy because you will have many cancellations and no shows. It depends what you prefer.
