I like the idea of partnering with local businesses especially where we are guests need reliable mode of transport so i have two cab drivers who offer the guests good service and in turn we both make profit. we are working together the idea that only one party to prosper is not good.
Restaurants, we have not done it but it is a good idea i will try.
I had the same problem, took them 2 weeks not even a phone call, wrote them numerous messages only to tell me to wait, and i tried explaining like here we do not have like a physical address, i live in Kenya... if one calls the lines were answered in the UK. very frustrating. BUT, eventually they had a local line and sent it to messages and called them.
They walked me through and verified my Listing.
In Mozambique do you have a local number you can call them? Let them give you an alternative solution. It will take a while but hopefully you will be confirmed.

I am in Kenya but working on a solution. My policy says i charge full amount for no show. Once i set up local payment i hope i will not feel the lose since this clients hold the house for days and i miss other booking.

I am also new in this but i realized when i took pictures with my mobile they were not so eye catching.
I resolved to get a photographer and it worked wonders.
Guests get attracted to the property only by pictures. get the best you can.
