Problems with Booking.com

I have to question integrity of the people at booking.com. They put my property live without my permission, confirm guest without my knowledge or consent. It is very stressful to get them to correct their mistake and have the audacity to want to hold me responsible for their mistake. Booking.com you need more professionalism.

On booking.com guest dont need your consent to book your place on open dates on your calendar. But to put your property live without your permission ?!?

As Blagoje said, bdc doesn't need your permission to book guests, and once booked you are obligated to accomodate them or find them alternate accommodation (or you can try requesting cancellation). Putting the property live without your permission seems fishy, though. I'd get in touch with your bdc rep.

my property my name ... they are obligated to respect that! none can name me!

they do it on purpose ... no more lies.. they sacks

Terrible website , they have too many flaws in the system and they do not want to rectify the problems. They do not care about the partners , they only want money even thought they did not earn it.

My issue is that Booking.com actively encourage cancellations from customers but we as hosts are heavily penalised. I have a 50% cancellation rate????? WTF???

I had a customer book on none refundable, then didn't even give their credit card number to hold the room.... I was ghosted and still charged commission despite listing it as a no show and no money either. It has cost me!!

My second problem (having only had two guests so far) is that a customer booked the room at full price until two days before then cancelled to book the same room as the none refundable (probably once they knew they were def coming). I have only one room, so they effectively held it for themselves knowing they would pay the cheaper rate if they definately wanted it down the line.

Booking.com allow for this and everywhere all you see is "cancel at no penalty', change your mind? don't worry! It is us the hosts that fund this circus and us the hosts who pay the price.

I am having problems with booking.com. Their website is causing too much stress and frustration. Worst site ever. Airbnb and others are much easier to use. can't get customer service...null and void! Booking guest without approval. Don't like instant booking...it cause too much problems.they list my place as if it is a hotel...selling rooms. We don't selling rooms.we rent a cottage located in a rain forest on a farm in beautiful St Vincent and the Grenadines. They charge such high commission...Not deserved  Please get your act together booking.com. What happened to VRBO?

I've had nothing but problems this year with Booking.com accepting bookings when my calendar clearly shows that a room is not available. Then today they charged me over a hundred euros to move the guest. They do not seem to be able to admit that they have problems with their system. Or they willfully make double bookings in the hope you will find another room out of thin air. Support is useless referring to useless help files that are not related to the problem. I have now closed all my rooms with them. They are nit professional and are all for the guest and not for their hosts. Plenty of other platforms out there. Booking.com are too risky to deal with..

I am having nothing but problems. Phoney bookings and now Booking.com wants commission for guests that didn't happen. I can't seem to find any customer service. Did you have any trouble closing your account?
