I have the same question and the problem and I am not about to renege my commitment to pay taxes but what should be understood is that when booking.com give me my income I actually have to write a receipt for the payment that was given to us minus the commission that they took out so doing this and writing my customer another official receipt will be equivalent to double taxation and that is what is happening and that is something that booking.com can look into so that customers who paid directly to them can issue for themselves receipts.

If you issued an official invoice for each stay that was booked by the guest, you don't have to make a new separate invoice for the payment from BDC. Well at least we don't practice like that.
The guest is staying at your property so you must issue the receipt to them for your services that were paid in advance.

I found out that as a property in the Philippines we should not be issuing another/separate invoice/receipt if the guest paid their stay with BDC. Why? Property issues receipt to BDC when BDC issues commission. You therefore pay taxes on the commission received. For the guest, they should get their receipt from BDC because they used their credit card paying BDC through their system/website.
If BDC issues receipt via system and property issues receipt for the guest and issues another receipt for BDC then that's double taxation that tax laws in the Philippines does not allow.

Booking.com is taking prepayments, and they charge you the commission for their service for which you receive their invoice each month.
You as a host is providing service to a guest that stays at your property, meaning you have to issue the invoice for your services.

Are you saying that if property does exactly what you say... property (A) Pay Gov't sales taxes for the customer who paid booking.com and (B) You pay Gov't taxes again to the net income booking.com paid? Is that what you said? Are you aware of Double Taxation?

I pay gov taxes for the invoices that I send to our account department. The same invoice that I give to the guest. I also pay gov taxes for Booking's commission invoice (22%). I don't see here the reason for double taxation. You create one invoice, but you can print copies. One for you, one for the guest, one for the account department, one to wipe the behind, ect..

Airbnb is sending all their clients, meaning all people booking through their site, emails with receipts right after the payment - called "Your receipt from Airbnb" - which can be used by the client to deduct it's spendings.

How can a Booking.com client receive such a receipt? I don't remember receiving such an email from Booking. Is there a place where the client can download it?

Booking.com is encouraging all people to list their apartments on their site and not just companies, so they must be offering receipts somewhere.

You'll find invoice samples in google that you can use (copy).

Booking.com issues invoices for their service to you (each month).

You as a host must issue an invoice to the guest for your services.

I actually found an official Booking.com answer saying:

"If we have handled the payment for your guest's reservation, they can print a copy of their receipt themselves via their confirmation email. Please note that this is only a receipt for the payment — if the guest requests an invoice for their stay, this will need to be provided by yourself as you're the service provider.

If the guest reaches out to you again regarding this, please advise them to call our customer service team so that we can assist further. If you require any further support, please don't hesitate to contact our 24/7 Partner Service department — our contact details can be found within the Extranet Inbox tab."

That makes sense. So for those hosting, it seems that if you only accept payment through the website (and not cash), you won't have to release receipts.

Unless an invoice is requested by the guest (mostly guests that are on a business trip).
