1st Booking received. Can I send guest a booking form to complete?

Hi All

Newby here who has just got her first booking.

On all the other platforms I use I get the guests direct email so I can send them a booking form that I need them to complete - for flight details, arrival time, address (which I get via booking.com) etc.

Is there anyway to send a booking form to a guest via the platform?
What happens if I send an email direct to the guest using name@guest.booking.com with the form attached? Will it get through to them?

I also specified in Policies that the guest needed to have a verified phone number to book and he hasn't provided one.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated - sorry for the newby questions.

Cheers

Bev

Dear Bev,

You can send e-mail directly to the one you see linked to the reservation. They will get it on the e-mail with which they have registered their BDC account (some might not read those e-mails, because they use it for spam).

The phone number thing can be set up in 2 places in BDC:

You can find both under Policies.

Best regards,

Zsolt - www.thuild.com

Zsolt -Thanks for the info re email.

I have set the phone requirement in both places on the Polices.

According to BDC I would not be able to see the phone number until 14 days before arrival.

Hi Bev,

According to who you would not be able to see the number? That doesn't sound like something Booking.com would implement as they know communication is a Key aspect in making a successful reservation and good holiday experience.

Hope to hear from you again!

(You don't have to give a name, just advise if it was Booking.com who told you?)

I don't remember his name anyway, but it was someone on the Partner support Team at BDC. Called UK support number
