    Unfortunately you're out of pocket.

    Use the invalid credit card feature and select "waive charges" on the cancellation. This tells BDC that you have gained no money and they, therefore, cannot charge you commission.

    Alternatively you could take a chance and wait until the new month to try the card again. You could even try a smaller amount to gain at least something. Then show BDC what you were actually able to charge and they can charge commission on that amount.
