Just saying hello!
We here in a sea resort in Norfolk, UK and in the middle of winter when many of our fellow 21 Guest Houses close and owners take their annual holidays or cruises! Its the first time in 6 years since we took over that we have also not closed and departed for warmer climes in our second 'home' in Asia.
To make this period financially viable we are having to work really hard post Xmas and New Year to interest guests to come to us and 'enjoy' what is on offer during this cold time ... bird watching and walking or visiting friends and Family are some of the ideas.
Whats everyone else doing?
It might get difficult in the first few year as customer still don't know that your resort is open during that season. But I am sure that you can earn good profit from that.
Hi Holger La, welcome to the forum :)
Sounds like you've got a good challenge for our community! I recommend asking your question in this existing conversation:
How to get more bookings in low season
Best of luck to you!
