Curious on your thoughts regarding the review question: Value For Money?
Perhaps Booking.com asking 'Value For Money?' is not really a question that has true merit, as people are biased to always answer with a lower score... because who really wants to say 'charge me more'. Guests will give 10 out of 10 on all other questions, but when asked about value will often choose one point lower. Henry Ford said it best... “If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” Asking people 'would you like to be charged more - as that is what the end consumer is perceiving when they read the word VALUE (Value = Price in their mind). I have reviewed several hotel Booking.com Admin Pages and they all seem to have this bias of people choosing to 'not pay more' (i.e. giving a point less on that Value question).
Is it time for the "Value For Money' question to be removed from Booking.com?
