Strange behavior of rate plans

When I create a new rate plan I have an option to set a minimum length of stay:

But when that plan is viewed in the calendar, the minimum length is not applied:

Furthermore, if I go back to edit the Rate plan, the option to select minimum length is not there anymore (together with the "How many days before check-in can guests book this rate plan" one).

Hey there,

I see you didn't add rooms for that rate plan. So maybe it will update when you add rooms? It's a risk but it will take you 2 minutes to add rooms and see if it actually does put a restriction on there or not. So you can just remove the rooms if it doesn't.

I suggest, leave the min stay out of the rate plan and just it Manually on the Calendar.

Best of luck!

Actually it is, it's assigned to the only room that I have.

And the problem with setting restrictions on the Calendar is that I have to specify a date range for the update, and there's no option "forever".

Hey Dejan,

Yes, I've experienced that. But with all my properties, I can only open bookings for this year (apparently that's very bad for business but I have to conform with the managing party), so I've closed my rooms for "forever" and I've got the restrictions on this year.

I had to go through it week by week (day by day) and put the restrictions on. Takes time but it's do-able in about an hour of focus.

Best of luck!
