    Thanks for asking. 

    Well that depends on a lot of things really. The fault could be on the guest's side also, maybe they found something better or perhaps your policies aren't strict enough to ensure the payment comes through.

    Do you contact each guest that makes a booking? This, I've found, can sometimes make the difference between a guest deciding on keeping their booking with you. 

    I suggest looking at your payment policies, which will put a time limit on the guest to make payment. Once they've paid then they will surely come, and if they don't there is no harm done.
