"sold out" ???

I just joined booking.com and made my house available for booking.  Although I have no reservations yet, it always shows "sold out" for any date filled in.  Sent a message already to booking.com but sorry to say, their response is taking so long.  Does anyone know what might cause this problem or how to solve it ?  Thanks for guiding me through this.

Hey Waldmann Sabine ,

Welcome to the Forum and Booking.com!

There are quite a few things that it could be but most likely it's because you're not verified yet. Is your property live yet? You will know this by logging into your Extranet and checking the Home page to see if the system is asking for a verification code.

If you've already done the verification etc, then perhaps you never opened your rooms. You can do this on Calendar within your Extranet.

I love using this bit of advise so here it comes: Phone a friend at Booking.com. Speaking to a person in realtime and getting realtime answers is Much faster than waiting for a reply on a message or from a Partner on the forum.

Best of luck, keep well.

HI Waldmann Sabine,

You can go to your calendar and availability page to change the dates your property will be available for booking. I had this seem problem about 2 weeks ago when i just sign up, and the calendar and available page was were i went to to resolve it.

Hope this helps.

Hey VISHI ,

Thanks for also answering.

It seems that there is a real gap between registering a property and actually receiving bookings. I think this might be something Booking.com needs to look into hey.

Keep well.

Meanwhile I received an answer from Booking.com. Friendly lady. She said it has to do with the restrictions I put for my house. like f.e. strong restrictions instead of flexibel ones, pre-payment, ... New members must set flexible restrictions for their ad to show on the Booking.com site and payment upon arrival. Only after 25 bookings, you can change your restrictions to less flexible ones. As English is not my mother tongue, this is what I understood. I changed everything (not to my liking) and apparently it works now. Thanks all for your help.

Hi Saud and welcome to the Partner Community.

Check your Restrictions...your room status has to be not in 0...

You can always call your local BDC office and ask them to check your calendar...
