So now I have to write to booking and ask they to change it when they initally made it just a click to turn on. Why can we not just go into the opportunity center and turn it on and off?
Why do these third party bookers make it so hard for us to turn on a dime? This is what gives small business out edge.

It makes me the cheapest room in town. I wonder, do I have to be the cheapest room in town to get business or is it hurting me. Booking is of no assistance. I have asked them to give me the stats on what exactly people click and how they find me. They said,they have the info, but cannot share. What the heck is up with that? How can I target my exact market if they won't tell me who they are? I asked if putting the space up as a whole house would get more views? Sorry they say, cannot tell you. Do you know? I ask, oh yes,we know how many people click and look for houses, but I have to scrap everything and start over, uncertain if it would be the best move. Sigh these third party agencies are not so friendly to small business.
You need to log into your extranet go to rates and availability and go to mobile rates. I've just deactivated it myself without having to get in touch with anyone.
I know it is bad, and it is pretty disappointing that you have to contact them to disable that discount. it creates bad reputation for you guys in Booking. very bad. If you are new. do not use that option!
You cant deactivate it on your own, there is no option to do so anywhere, you have to contact Booking in order to disable that discount, and I highly recomment getting out of the Genius program too. thats a lot of discounts!.
And dont forget if you add season discounts, you are practically giving away your rooms!
M.Adamopoulu,you have to switch from month or year view to LIST view if you want to see new tabs under calendar and rates,otherwise it will not show you the new tabs like genius,mobile rate etc.etc.Just try and you will see.Greetings
You can deactivate mobile rates under rates and ...Just click on mobile rates than down left click on active and than you will see option to deactivate or edit you choose deactivate.Later you can reactivate at anytime

You log into extranet go to rates and availability and click on mobile rates they can be deactivated from there.

Are you able to deactivate via your calendar?
Since you can add new deals from there, I assume you can delete them as well, as long as it is not interfering with current bookings.

This is what I spent my free Saturday on.
There was a bug in the system.
It is still not completely gone. I dont seem to be able to change my reduced price in listview.
But have given up for now. Need my sleep. If no bookings by monday I habe to call again.
I only had two days booked by B.

Log into your extranet..go to rates and availability then check mobile rates. You can deactivate it from there.
