Verification of our location, apartment

 

Hi,

My problem can be found below.

My accommodation has not been online from November 2018. Guests come from booking at the beginning of the year and pay Booking for my accommodation. Even I receive no compensation, money from booking because the confirmation to my address, my accommodation does not work. Despite several requests I have not received a letter with a confirmation code to the accommodation until today.

Can someone help me ?? Pls. read below...

Is there any news regarding our renting the accommodation or the confirmation of accommodation or solving our problem. Our guests found our accommodation so far. Booking is unable to send us the letter with the code to release the accommodation and
since November 2018. There was a problem with the address, but even with the correct address, the letter with the information does not reach us. Keeping up with customer service has been unhelpful for weeks and over a few months.
Payment of our customers was always made to Booking, Booking has received the money and does not pay us. That is a fact and the blocking of accommodation is another fact.

Payment for service must always be made already because the guests have verified Adresee and the presence of the accommodation. In addition, I have also provided you the telephone bill with address in the last EMAIL. But what's the point with the address ... Your letter with confirmation code does not arrive.
Please find another way of confirmation.
We have been partnering with HomeAway since 2011 with this accommodation. We are not partners of airbnb !!

Same thing is happening to me. I joined bdc around 21st April. Three/four times I have now asked for a location code but it is not coming. I checked the address - its perfectly clear and correct. I live in the centre of Nice so its not a difficult place to find. Why is the code not coming? I have emailed bdc but not heard anything back yet. Are you saying I wont get paid until I have it? I also heard the account will be blocked off after several bookings. This is through no fault of our own.

oh dear. I know several friends had to ask twice but now I am beginning to panic as its nearly one month on and none of the codes are arriving.

Hi Janefryer,

That is something like that. We have been waiting for our confirmation code since mid-November 2018. It is also in France it is in Beausoleil. We really panic because in the meantime 3,000 euros were not paid for this reason and new bookings for 14,000 euros have already been made by October 2019. By the way, our apartment was closed by the Agency of Booking in Nice and can not be opened now due to the missing code from delivery. That's why Booking does not pay.

Have you phoned bdc about it Claus? I will if I dont hear back from my email. But I certainly need the money to pay all the taxes and charges in September. You will know this of course. I too am with Homeaway, Trip Advisor and Airbnb but our usual British guests are not coming this year because of Brexit and french strikes and protests.

I wonder do they have a facebook page? Complaints for airbnb and the like work best through the facebook page.

LOL via Frankfurt, Nice, Barcelone, Amsterdam etc.etc. more than 20 times &.endless Email

Geting tired of this. There is only the customerservice but no help really and nobody decides.

TIP: A confirmation for you is also possible with bdc via a partner like airbnb.

But, we are not partner of airbnb.

Ah, I am a superhost in England with airbnb but have no idea how to partner with airbnb. Maybe I should read through the whole site again. I think otherwise I shall remove myself from bdc as if we are being scammed by a computer, we will never get our money.

Hi. I have been with bdc for only approx 3 weeks, I am regretting this move already I think, same concern with the confirmation code,My address kid slightly different so wanted to update my address. They have asked me to send in a recent electricity bill which has the same address as what ~I supplied in the first instance, The reason in which it has changed slightly is that it was a new build when purrchased. I asked my management team of my property if it has arrived at my villa, but as yet nothing, they also said that it is unlikely that I would receive this as the postal service is not very good, on the odd occasions if the postal service may recognise the address and may arrange to drop the letter and a designated area instead. I appreciate I` haven't been with them veru=y long but also today I was informed that any potential bookings are going to paid in Turkish lira, so therefore I have to submit my Turkish bank details, very inconvenient for myself, and I would think that they wouldn't give me good exchange rates. aaargggghhh so soon,

any suggestions would be great.

It does not answer my problem but opens up here in a certain way a another additional problem.

Just to say I phoned the Nice office number this morning and spoke to an English guy who was very helpful. Said they will send someone round to the apartment to verify its existance in the next day or so. (Still do not know why the codes are not arriving). He did say, interestingly, that money is not witheld due to lack of location code.

Also I asked why the taxe sejour was not being added to my guest invoices. He confirmed it was set up correctly and that bdc should have been adding it so they will absorb the cost once all sorted.

No guarantee of a result but at least a clear and informative person to speak to.

It gives one hope !!!

Can't find any tangeable address for this office. Presumably its just a phone crew.

Hi Jane,

My problems were solved completely through the Office Nice this morning. The verification was made via a video conference. Also, the outstanding amount of about 3,000 euros will be at the latest 06.06. paid or rather.

I'm happy again with Bdc and their support in Nice.


Miracles can also happen with Booking.com

Aaah, you maybe got the same guy as me. I think his name was Gareth or Gavin.

Well, I could do a video conference - they never suggested that.

I will update if and when it all happens.

Could you please tell me the phone number of Booking at Nice? I did not find it in the web.

We also are supposed to be played by booking, we received the invoice but not the payment yet. That is normal? I really don’t know what is going on with Booking , and right now I star to be affray to be also defrauded.

Hello there,

We received our booking code finally this morning !!!

Also the taxe de sejour is now sorted and on the guest invoices.

They do actually read our emails it seems which is excellent.

Bdc actually rang me twice, once from Barcelona to help sort things so I think that was good service.

Hopefully we can proceed just fine - we just need more bookings :)-
